North 400

On 16th August 2013, a small group of us road cyclists from the Prince George Cycling Club made our inaugural North400 ride from Jasper to Prince George in one day! The total distance was 385km. The aim of the trip was to raise money for charity and this year's was a good one - to send kids with cancer to Camp Good Times. A worthy cause, I hope you'll agree. Assailed by bad weather of every description right from the start and lack of sleep the night before, I only managed 229km. However, four of us did the whole thing. It is still possible to donate via the Cops for Cancer website. Here is the link to my page.

There was a little more information on the ride via the CKPG website with a video featuring my very good friend David Lee from Cyclelogic on 3rd Avenue. There is also a facebook page here.

I hope you can donate something to this fantastic cause.

That is phenomenal, I would manage probably 20% of that, but with my electric bike I would be able to on for the whole distance provided I am able to recharge it every 50km. It is for charity, well done.
